For testing our device, we evaluated which cleaning method should be used in order to decrease Healthcare Associated infections as this directly affects yearly costs from hospitals. With Dr. Pai’s help, as seen in the pictures we were able to evaluate the three different possible cleaning methods and affirmed that our current sponge cleaning mechanism was the best possible choice in eliminating bacteria contamination.
